Chadel World Cup
28 November 2026
Practical info
Required physical fitness
Please do not underestimate the physical fitness required to
play this tournament. All teams are expected to complete 6 rounds of chadel.
That means playing 6 x 8 = 48 games of padel on a single day - the equivalent
of playing two padel three-setters both ending with the score: 6-2, 2-6, 6-2.
The presence of a break from padel after each 8 padel games will
certainly help players to persevere. However, it also poses a risk: being
sweaty and cooling off while playing chess can cause issues when resuming padel.
Please be aware of this and prepare for it by taking with you plenty of fresh
shirts, a sweater, long training pants, etc. The playing hall can be chilly during
wintery weather.
Also: make sure to keep hydrated!
Getting there and away
Plaza Padel offers free parking around the facility, but
this involves registration of your license plate upon arrival. < more
detailed information to follow >
It is also very easy to reach Plaza Padel by public
transport. Tram 17 serves both major The Hague train stations (Den Haag CS and
Den Haag HS) and stops at “Handelskade”, which is at 3 minutes walking distance
from Plaza Padel. Using public transport in the Netherlands is possible by “checking-in”
and “checking-out” with any bank card to any train / tram / bus.
