Frequently asked questions
What does it cost?
Using it is free for organisers and players. Collecting entry fees online through StickChess? Then we keep a fee per transaction.
Can I receive entry fees through StickChess?
Yes. Participants pay the entry fee when they sign up, through iDEAL or bank transfer. Online payments run through your own Mollie or Stripe account, so the money goes straight to you.
Do I need an account?
As an organiser you create a free account. Players don't need one: they sign up with a name and e-mail and follow the tournament via a link or on stickchess.com.
Which pairing systems are supported?
Swiss, double Swiss, Berger tables, Scheveningen or manual pairing.
Can I download a KNSB rating report afterwards?
Yes. Afterwards you download the results as a KNSB rating report, ready to submit to the KNSB. Players without a KNSB number enter their gender and year of birth at sign-up, so the report is complete.
